What is the Earn While You Learn program?
Great question! The EWYL program is a life skills program written specifically for organizations like Tapestry. There are a variety of subjects that are broken down into mini-sessions so that you can pick and choose what YOU want to learn about!
We don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” program, which is why we work with you to customize the curriculum to suit you and your families needs.
But WHAT am I earning?
Another great question! As you work through your program with your advocate – in mentoring, EWYL program, attending your prenatal appointments (if you are pregnant), volunteering your time as a helper in the thrift store…all of these thingshelp you earn points in your ‘account’.
You can then use those points in our boutique – that is ONLY available to the women in our programs – that is filled with brand new things for yourself and your children!
