Unplanned & Crisis Pregnancies: Facing an unplanned pregnancy can be overwhelming, especially if you don’t have a strong support system. Everything we do at Tapestry to geared towards coming around you during this stressful time, removing barriers and providing resources and referrals so that you can sort through all of your options. Through our partnership with Fairview Riverside Hospital, we provide ultrasounds and prenatal care throughout your pregnancy, ensuring you’ll have a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
Education & Empowerment: Our mentoring program is an integral piece of what we do. We believe that unplanned and/or crisis pregnancies are most often the by-product of all of the other things going on in our lives. If we only focus on the pregnancy, then we are missing the point! We have learned (through our own experiences in life) that unless we look at and deal with all of the other things going on in our lives, we have no shot at creating a good life four our children. Our mentoring program allows you to work with an advocate to develop an action plan that fits your situation…allowing you to create a new legacy for yourself and your family.
Humanitarian Outreach is the material or logistical assistance provided for humanitarian purposes, typically in response to crisis. The primary objective of humanitarian outreach is to alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity. We have dedicated staff and considerable resources to meet these needs in this community through our material assistance program, diaper depot and thrift store.
